Both HBOT and multilight therapies work by triggering biological processes, not giving an instant “fix.”

 • HBOT increases oxygen delivery to tissues, which supports:

 • New blood vessel formation (angiogenesis)

 • Reduced inflammation

 • Improved cellular repair

 • Multilight therapy stimulates mitochondria (your cell “energy engines”), increasing ATP production and supporting healing and recovery.

These are gradual biological changes, so one session only produces a short-lived effect. Repeated exposure is what creates lasting change in tissue function.

This depends on the goal, but typical protocols are:

 • HBOT:
Usually 3–5 sessions per week, sometimes daily in clinical protocols for certain conditions.

 • Multilight therapy:
Often 2–5 sessions per week, depending on intensity, device, and treatment goal.

More frequent early on is common because the goal is to “stack” the biological stimulation before effects plateau.

This varies a lot based on condition and baseline health:

 • Some people feel early effects (energy, reduced pain, better sleep):
after 3–10 sessions

 • Tissue repair / injury recovery:
usually 10–30+ sessions

 • Neurological or chronic conditions:
